About Dr. Mehmet Fatih Yilmaz

Mehmet Fatih Yilmaz earned his Ph.D. in atomic spectroscopy of high-energy density plasmas from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2009. He is currently affiliated with Sheriff Latif LLC, where he engages in both industrial and research activities. His work focuses on AI deep learning applications and various plasma technology applications, including plasma etch processing of semiconductors, light-matter interactions, and high-energy density plasmas. With over 100 publications to his name, he has successfully utilized pattern recognition and artificial intelligence techniques on data from both high-temperature and low-temperature plasmas to develop new diagnostics and investigate self-organized collective and hidden structures since 2011.

Dr. Mehmet Fatih Yilmaz handles review of manuscripts that are submitted under the following topics.

  • Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning for Physics
  • Spectral Pattern Recognition
  • Deep Learning of self-organized Structures in Plasmas
  • Collective Behavior
  • Predator-prey Dynamics
