About Dr. Mehmet Fatih Yilmaz

Mehmet Fatih Yilmaz received his Ph.D. degree in atomic spectroscopy of high energy density plasmas from University of Nevada, Reno, in 2009. Currently, he is senior engineer at LAM Research working on the plasma etch processing of semiconductors. He has more than 100 publications and he has successfully applied the pattern recognition and artificial intelligence techniques to data of high temperature and low temperature plasmas for elucidating and studying the self-organized collective structures.

Dr. Mehmet Fatih Yilmaz handles review of manuscripts that are submitted under the following topics.

  • Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning for Physics
  • Spectral Pattern Recognition
  • Deep Learning of self-organized Structures in Plasmas
  • Collective Behavior
  • Predator-prey Dynamics
