About Associate Professor Cemil Turan
Dr. Cemil Turan received bachelor degree in Yildiz Technical University, Electrical & Electronics Engineering Faculty, Istanbul, Turkey in 1995. After working in Kazakh-Turkish high schools as a Physics teacher for 13 years in Kazakhstan, he pursued his academic carrier in a Kazakh-Turkish International University, Suleyman Demirel University, SDU. He received his master degree (2011) in Educational Mathematics in SDU and PhD degree (2016) in Electrical & Computer Engineering in Mevlana Rumi University, Konya, Turkey. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Engineering & Natural Sciences Faculty in SDU.He has published over 20 research articles in national & international journals and conferences. His research interests include Adaptive Filtering, LMS-type Algorithms, Sparse System Identification, Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
